Odle mountain range in the Dolomites, with iconic rocky spires rising into the sky, and green spruce forests and a meadow at the base.

Hiking in the footsteps of silence

The Dolomites, wild and sublime

From Selva di Val Gardena, the trail leads up into another world – silent, vast, almost otherworldly. The Puez Odle Nature Park unfolds like a dreamscape: white-grey seas of rock, rugged ridges, gentle plateaus. Step by step, time loses its meaning, and you find yourself somewhere between heaven and earth.

The Dantercëpies cable car glides you up to 2,298 m, where the adventure begins. Via the Jimmy Hut and the Cir Pass, the path leads onto the legendary Dolomites High Route No. 2 – a route that leads not only through the nature park, but through millions of years of Earth’s history. The light becomes clearer, the view broader, until you reach the Puez Hut at 2,475 m, where rocks stand like sculptures in the sun. As you descend through the quiet Vallunga valley, a deep calm settles over you – the feeling of being part of something infinite.
