Travelling by car

Val Gardena can be reached using the Brenner motorway (A22).

Coming from the north, follow the route Innsbruck - Brennero - Chiusa. Coming from the south, follow Verona - Trento - Bolzano. Take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit. Following the well-marked roads, you should reach Ortisei in about 20 minutes, then S. Cristina and Selva Gardena: Hotel Oswald is inthe center of the village, facing the Nivesplatz central square.

You can reach Val Gardena easily using the bus transfer service or local taxis from the airports Milano Malpensa (Milan), Bergamo Orio al Serio (near Milan), Verona Valerio Catullo, Venezia, Treviso, Munich and Innsbruck. For information and reservations:

BY train

Val Gardena is connected to the rest of Italy via IR trains (from Verona and Bologna), IC trains (from Lecce - Pescara - Bologna), EC trains (from Verona, Bologna and Milan) and to northern Europe with excellent InterCity and EuroCity train connections. We recommend getting off at the station in Bolzano or Waidbruck.
